The island features scenic trails and two main villages: Chora and Ano Meria. Chora, with its narrow, cobbled streets, is celebrated as one of the most beautiful villages in the Cyclades. Six kilometers away, picturesque and sparsely populated Ano Meria offers sweeping views of the Aegean Sea.

The island’s port, Karavostasis, provides access to several small and large pebble or sandy beaches, such as Chochlidia, Vardia, Latinaki, Vitsentzou, Puntaki, and Livadi. These beaches can be reached by car, local bus, or on foot. With the boat “STELLA EXPRESS 3,” which departs every hour daily from the port, you can visit the famous and wild beach of Katergo.
